SA: Two snakes die in house fire
Two pythons have died in a house fire in Adelaide overnight.
Fire gutted a house in the north-eastern suburb of Golden Grove early this morning.
It started in a heat-pad being used to keep the two pet snakes warm.
The Country Fire Service says one person was in the house at the time of the fire and
escaped injury but both pythons died in the blaze.
Damage to the house was estimated at $60,000.
