24 hours, 1,604 points: Rugby's longest ever match

LONDON (AP) — A rugby club in northwest England has set a record for the sport's longest ever match by playing continuously for more than 24 hours.

Congleton RUFC played the equivalent of 18 straight matches plus injury time to raise money for charity and earn a place in The Guinness Book of Records.
