Internet Retailer Magazine Recognizes TrollandToad.com as One of Nations 500 Most Successful Online Retailers

TrollandToad.com said it has recently been recognized by Internet Retailer Magazine as one of the nation's 500 most successful online retailers of 2010.

The company specializing in collectible card games, out of print games, as well as current games. TrollandToad.com also earned Top Holiday Seller status on Amazon.com for 2010, and has completed a single purchase of Magic: the Gathering cards to date. This 1.5 million dollar deal will help ensure that TrollandToad.com will continue to have the industry's most complete inventory of Magic cards, the Company noted in a release.
In a year where the average annual sales growth of U.S. based e- commerce sales was 14.8 percent, TrollandToad.com experienced a 78.6 percent growth. The company has recently achieved an impressive ranking of No. 449 on Internet Retailer Magazine's Top 500. Ranking among companies like Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Toys "R" Us and Dell.com. This is the highest sales growth rate of all retailers listed in the Toys/Hobbies category.

"I never expected, when I started this company in my garage, that it would become so successful", said Jon Huston. "However, with our employees' incredible level of dedication and teamwork; it seems that we can do nothing but continue to grow."

On April 28th, the Company noted that it completed the purchase of the industrial warehouse in eastern Kentucky, formerly occupied by American Greeting Cards. As of May 2011, TrollandToad.com has also opened an additional retail store and tournament center located in Richmond, KY. and is planning to open several more nationwide.

In 2010, TrollandToad.com said it also received a ranking of No. 1,004 on the Inc. 5000 list for being one of America's fastest- growing privately-held companies.
